Change of Delivery Address

Since the introduction of the thumbprint scheme criminals have been looking for new ways to get hold of your cargo. Recently, offences have occurred where loads have been diverted on route or at the point of delivery.

  1. All drivers should have the full address and where possible a contact name for the point of delivery.
  2. If a driver is asked to deviate from a route or to deliver elsewhere this must be confirmed with the dispatching company.
  3. If a driver becomes suspicious of any communications / directions at the point of delivery they must confirm with the dispatching company.

Any incidents prevented by the drivers actions should still be reported to the Operation Grafton intelligence cell on 0208 246 9972
